Energy audit

Projects

“EKO SMART LABORATORY” LLC performs energy surveys (energy audits) of enterprises and organizations with the aim of evaluating the efficiency of the use of fuel and energy resources and the implementation of energy-saving measures.

An energy audit of an enterprise is a comprehensive survey aimed at determining the structure and efficiency of the enterprise’s energy costs, finding its most energy-consuming nodes, determining the causes of losses and developing recommendations for their elimination. It can be considered as a separate type of service, as well as a preliminary stage of the production modernization project.

Requirements for an energy audit:

Focused on determining the efficiency of the enterprise’s energy consumption and finding optimal ways to reduce it.
The composition of works can be conditionally divided into 4 stages:

  • Stage 1 – examination of the enterprise and collection of initial data;
  • Stage 2 – processing and analysis of raw data;
  • Stage 3 – development of energy-saving measures;
  • Stage 4 – technical and economic justification of the proposed measures.

The product that the enterprise receives as a result of conducting an energy audit is a report that contains an analysis of the current energy consumption situation at the enterprise, an assessment of the potential for energy saving, specific proposals for the implementation of energy-saving measures with an assessment of the economic effect.
Based on our experience, measures identified during an energy audit, when implemented, reduce energy consumption from 5 to 30%, and the payback period is usually from 1 to 24 months.

Energy audit can be conditionally divided into two types:

Express audit – an energy survey of the enterprise, which is carried out in the shortest possible time. The advantages of such an examination are quick results.
Disadvantage: a large inaccuracy of the results. The duration is 2-4 weeks.
Full audit – a comprehensive energy survey of the enterprise with measurements, analysis of production, transportation and consumption of all types of energy carriers, development of energy saving measures, starting from low-cost and quickly paying off and ending with large-cost measures. The advantages of such an examination are the low error of the results. Disadvantage: long duration – 6 months or more.
